  • DEI committee has created a  DEI @ GU Physics web page. It includes a form for providing anonymous feedback to the committee. Please use the form to send the committee questions, suggestions, or concerns. 
     
  • The committee is preparing to deploy a climate survey this month to help us understand how to improve departmental efforts to create a welcoming, inclusive, and equitable community. Please keep an eye out for the survey.

Dr. Prescod-Weinstein is a cosmologist who works at the intersection of particle physics and astrophysics. She also does research on feminist science studies. She was named by Nature as one of 10 people who helped shape science in 2020 (Nature's 10), and she was awarded the 2021 American Physical Society Edward A. Bouchet Award for her contributions to theoretical cosmology and particle physics and for co-creating the Particles for Justice movement.
