Pool concepts to be revealed!

The City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department invites you to the second Virtual Community Meeting for the Colony Park Pool. 

During the meeting, the design team will provide possible concepts for the future Colony Park pool. These concepts were designed using feedback gathered from the Virtual Public Meeting #1, Speakup Austin Online Surveys, and Community Conversations with students at local schools. 

We hope you will join us for the next phase of the project!

Easter Bunny, prizes and more! Join the Turner-Roberts Recreation Staff on Saturday, March 27 from 10:30am–Noon for their annual Spring Fling event.

This year families can enjoy the festivities socially distanced from the comforts of their cars. Each child will receive a bag of ten (10) pre-stuffed eggs with candy and prizes to enjoy at home. Don't miss the fun!

Virtual Grand Opening: March 29 at Noon

Resource Center Coming Soon!

Central Health and partners invite you to participate in the Virtual Grand Opening of the Northeast Health Resource Center (NEHRC) located at Barbara Jordan Elementary School, 6711 Johnny Morris Road. To mark this special occasion, a celebration will be held online. 

The NEHRC will serve the area with health resources and support services. The Center is part of Central Health's larger strategy to expand health care services in Eastern Travis County.

Home Repair Program 
The Housing & Planning Department has launched the Emergency Home Repair Program in response to the Texas Winter Storm. Austin Homeowners who meet requirements may be eligible for up to $10,000 in repairs. 
Food Resource
The Central Texas Food Bank is partnering with the Turner-Roberts Recreation Center to provide FREE after school meals for children ages 18 and under.  Stop by for a healthy meal/snack every Wednesday from 2:30–3:30pm. 
 
COVID Vaccine Registration
Austin Public Health is encouraging the community to pre-register for the  FREE COVID-19 Vaccine. If you cannot access the online system, please call (512) 972-5560 for assistance. 
Summer Job Opportunities
Looking for a fun summer job? The City of Austin Aquatic Division is hiring Lifeguards. Applicants must be 15 years of age or older. Training and certifications are offered to qualified applicants.
