LAST CHANCE TO SHARE YOUR VOICE IN THIS IMPORTANT SURVEY!
Throughout Lent, parishioners at every parish are being given the opportunity to participate in a diocesan-wide survey called the Disciple Maker Index that looks at all aspects of parish life. Please take this short 10-15 minute survey to help our parish and the Diocese of Columbus! The survey ends on Sunday, 21 March 2021.

EXPOSITION OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT
This Thursday, 25 March our parish will offer Exposition of The Most Blessed Sacrament beginning after the 9 am Mass until 1.45 when Benediction Service will be celebrated with the school children. All are welcome to stop by for a visit to sit with the Lord. If you can commit to a 30-minute time slot, please sign-up in the South vestibule of the church.
If you've been away from the sacrament of confession and you'd like some help preparing or remembering how the sacrament is celebrated, please contact one of the priests or Brian McCauley at 740.653.0997 for some support. God the Father of Mercies is waiting to embrace you!

We are now enrolling new families to St. Mary School for the 2021-22 school year! Please call us at 740-654-1632 to schedule a visit and get more information!

We are proud of our efforts to remain open and teach face-to-face this school year. We have been able to do this and provide remote instruction to students who had to quarantine. We are planning to return to school stronger than ever next fall.

Our 8th-grade class will be presenting their Living Stations of the Cross at 1 p.m. on March 26. Due to space constraints, it will be live-streamed on the St. Mary of the Assumption website, Facebook, and YouTube channel - we invite everyone to experience this beautiful and moving Lenten tradition.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share the Good News of the Church with our students every day which would not be possible without the continued support of our parishes, parents, and families. Come join us in 2021-22!

St. Mary Adult Choir to offer Tenebrae Service
Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord at 7 pm

The word “Tenebrae” comes from the Latin word for “darkness” or “shadows.” A singular feature of this service is the fact that as the chants and readings progress, candles are gradually extinguished. For a brief time, we are enveloped in darkness, meditating on the mystery of Christ’s death and the apparent victory of darkness, only to be startled by a loud noise (strepitus) symbolizing the earthquake at the time of Jesus’ death. The atmosphere of this service is contemplative and it invites your participation, prayer, and quiet reflection.
