Students gathered Saturday morning to protest racism on the UA campus and call for the removal of prominent campus figures J. William Fulbright and Charles Brough.
The UA Faculty Senate passed a resolution Wednesday supporting an increase in the minimum wage for graduate assistants that, if implemented, would ensure GAs made about $20,000 for a nine-month contract.
Students and community members are still waiting for a decision from the UofA on the presence of Sen. J. William Fulbright and Gov. Charles Brough on campus.
