Even people who have engaged in therapy and other forms of self-development find that feeling “good enough” and “worthy” remains elusive.
Recently it was suggested to us that a discussion group focused on this topic would be interesting and helpful. Based on the idea that support from others, as well as energy, information, and an intentional focus on self-worth could increase peace and clarity, we have decided to pilot this new group.
The Self-Worth Study Group will meet online every-other Wednesday from 12-1pm beginning March 31 and running through June 9. We will consider topics and utilize a variety of resources to explore the questions:
Who am I and how do I know if I’m worthy?
What creates my doubt of self-worth and do others feel this way?
What beliefs and mindsets might be blocking my sense of self-worth?
What actions can re-affirm my self-worth?
Is it selfish to focus on my self-worth?
How do feelings about my body play into my feelings of self-worth?
What does the research suggest I do to feel more worthy?
This is not a therapy group, but rather a discussion/study/support group focused on education and discovery. We are going on a journey together that promises to be interesting and illuminating. Like all adventures, it may very well open new questions, challenges, and ideas.
The cost is $179. To sign up or for more information, simply respond to this email or contact Hannah Curtis, LCSW at hannah@newapproachesme.com
