Hello GYS families,
I apologize that this memo is reaching you much later than usual. It is a very busy time for our conductors and myself! There is a lot of important information to share this week:
- No regular rehearsals this week! Module 2 has come to an end and we are taking a break from rehearsals this week for Choirs I, II, III, and SATB. MTA, stayed tuned for updates from Markus - there may be some extra/alternate rehearsal time for you.
- If you have not registered for Module 3: The Poet's Laugh, please email me and I'll prepare an invoice for you. I will be reaching out individually if I have not heard from you yet.
- Our exciting Paint pARTy Fundraiser is fast approaching! We'll soon have the custom design for our painting project ready to share with you in a separate email. - We need to hear from you by March 21 if you would like to order a Supply Kit for the Paint pARTy.
- The GYMC needs our help! Please join their exciting fundraising campaign: GYMC Launches Matching Donation Challenge
- And finally, GYS will be holding our Annual Online Auction from May 21 to June 4 and we need your help! This is a huge undertaking for one or two people, but if we all pitch in and help to secure a few donations, this could be a very successful fundraiser! Please start thinking of people and businesses you could approach. We'll have an official request letter ready to share very soon.
