State Extends Deferment Period for all COVID-19 EIDL and Other Disaster Loans until 2022

 The US Small Business Administration announced an extended deferment period for all disaster loans, including the COVID-19 Economic Disaster Loan (EIDL) program, until 2022.
- All SBA disaster loans made in calendar year 2020, including COVID-19 EIDL, will have a first payment due date extended from 12-months to 24-months from the date of the note.
- All SBA disaster loans made in calendar year 2021, including COVID-19 EIDL, will have a first payment due date extended from 12-months to 18-months from the date of the note.
Existing SBA disaster loans approved prior to 2020 in regular servicing status as of March 1, 2020, received an automatic deferment of principal and interest payments through December 31, 2020. This initial deferment period was subsequently extended through March 31, 2021. An additional 12-month deferment of principal and interest payments will be automatically granted to these borrowers.

Relief Grant Program
Round 4 for Non-profit Cultural Institutions Now Open

 California's Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA), part of the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), recently announced four new funding rounds for the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program.
- Round 4: Non-profit Cultural Institutions Only opened on Tuesday, March 16 through Tuesday, March 23. Eligible non-profit cultural institutions must complete a new application even if they already applied in Rounds 1 and 2.
- Round 5: Current waitlisted small businesses and non-profits not selected in Rounds 1, 2, or 3 and new applicants that meet eligibility criteria open on Thursday, March 25 through Wednesday, March 31. Applicants not selected to receive a grant in Rounds 1, 2, & 3 do not need to reapply as they will be automatically moved into Round 5.

COVID-19 Testing Site Moves from Alameda County Fairgrounds to Livermore
Effective April 1, 2021

 Stanford Health Care-ValleyCare will relocate COVID-19 testing from the regional testing site at the Alameda County Fairgrounds and consolidate it with the existing COVID-19 testing site in Livermore. Testing is available to patients with or without a physician order.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- All insurances are accepted and will be billed, but there will be no out-of-pocket costs. Cash pay fees are waived.
- Test results may take up to 72 hours but may be available sooner.
- Patients will need to provide a phone number or email to receive results and follow-up information.
- Must be 10 years of age of older to receive testing.

Alameda County Vaccine Information
|
|
 Alameda County is currently vaccinating the following:
- Persons ages 65+
- Essential workers in healthcare, food/agriculture, education/childcare, and emergency services
- Persons ages 16-64 who are deemed to be at the very highest risk due to complex health conditions
- Persons who work, reside, or recently resided in a high-risk congregate living setting such as a correctional facility, homeless shelter, or behavioral health facility
- Persons currently experiencing homelessness (sheltered or unsheltered)
- Public transportation personnel, including airport and commercial airline workers (excludes private planes)
- Utility workers and janitors
Eligibility criteria will continue to be updated based on capacity and vaccine availability.

Legislative Briefing for Pleasanton Small Businesses

Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan of District 16 invites small businesses in Pleasanton to attend a legislative briefing on March 26, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm via Zoom. Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan will share her legislative priorities and host a Q&A session about the budget and bills affecting small businesses.
