This new website provides videos and resources in twelve languages to inspire us to safely connect with and care for each other as neighbours in our city. It has been a labour of love, and we believe you will hear that love and care on display as you explore the videos and resources we have created.
It includes the following resources so far, with more on the way.
Introduction and story videos in all twelve languages to remind us of how important love and care of neighbour is in each of our respective cultures.
A Safe Food Sharing Guide! The pizza guy can bring food to your neighbour's house. If you use the same safety protocols, so can you!
A Safe Helping Guide - with ideas and instructions on how to safely care for each other as neighbours!
Coming soon: Neighbouring Cards and Ideas for Cohorts and Safety Circles!
Not all resources are available in every language, but we are working on that. But for now, please enjoy the following video explaining the project!
Neighbours Helping Neighbours in Covid-19!
The links above are only to the English resources we have created. To access the other languages, please visit Helpisnextdoor.ca. So far, we have resources in the following languages available for download.
Some resources are still being translated, so please be patient if your language is not yet available.
We need to be careful and we need to be safe, but we also need the courage to help each other! Come join us as we learn how with Helpisnextdoor.ca!
