CMS increases payment for administering COVID-19 vaccine

Earlier this week, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) increased the Medicare payment amount for administering the COVID-19 vaccine. The average rate for health care providers will be $40 for each dose of the vaccine. Other vaccine provider resources:

According to a study in JAMA Network Open, the biggest risk of health care workers getting COVID-19 is not from their workplaces, but from exposure to someone who tested positive for the virus and living in a zip code with a high positivity rate

Consider submitting cases to the COVID-19 Vaccine Allergy Case Registry. Spearheaded by Massachusetts General Hospital, this is a community-wide effort to collect and share case reports on COVID-19 vaccine hypersensitivity reactions. Read more>
