             JUNIOR INFORMATION

It was a real shame about the weather last Saturday in which
all Junior Semi Finals were washed out. All teams who finished 4th on the ladder
are automatically out of the finals race. All teams who finished 1st
have advanced to the Grand Final. All teams who finished 2nd and 3rd will
play in the Preliminary Finals this Saturday the 20th March for a place in the Grand Final.

CLWTC - Junior Finals Teams
Our Div 1 Girls lost their semi-final last week 4-2 in a close encounter against Flagstaff Hill,
so their season has now ended.
Unfortunately due to the washout last weekend our 4th Ranked Green Ball Mixed Team,
their season has also ended now.

Our Green Ball Boys play their Preliminary Final against Denman at home on Saturday morning.
Our Div 3 Girls play their Preliminary Final against Happy Valley at home on Saturday morning.

Our Div 7 Boys advanced to a home Grand Final, next Saturday the 27th March.

             SENIOR INFORMATION

Please note again the following important information regarding finals.....

Referee

Anne Morgan will be the referee, she can be contacted on 0414 267 280.

Scoresheets

Players need to play in order of merit!
Please ensure that match sheets are exchanged BEFORE the match commences

These cannot be altered after exchanging them unless both teams agree -
without any undue pressure being placed for agreement either.

Please ensure that all players play the correct opponents.
Should the wrong players play off then the matches MUST be started again
and played correctly.

Once matches are complete, please take a photo of the score sheet and send it to
Jed Blood (0409 025 308) so that results can be entered into the system.
Folders will need to be returned to the club at the end of your match.

Balls

Rule 78. b) Major round matches: Each team to provide match balls –
each team of 8 to supply 8 new balls-each team of 4 to supply 4 new balls.
Division 1 singles competition shall provide an additional four balls for each match.

Rule 78. c) New balls to be used in all Men’s and Women’s Doubles.

Finals Rules

Rule 86.In the major round the matches are to be played in reverse order:
i.e. second double first, fourth single/fourth mixed double first.

Rule 87.The higher ranked team shall have home court advantage for the major round.

Rule 88.In the event of a dispute arising between teams in connection with match play,
failing light or inclement weather, the matter shall be referred to the Referee, whose decision shall be final.

Rule 89.Should any finals match that has commenced be incomplete for any reason
the higher placed team shall be declared the winner.

Rule 90.Any major round match that results in a draw is to be decided by
all male and female doubles playing tiebreaks. The team aggregating firstly the most tiebreaks
or secondly the most points in these tiebreaks shall be the winner.
If points are equal the match is to be decided by all doubles playing
further braces of tiebreaks until a result is achieved.

All players need to be present until there is an outcome from the match.
Might also be a good idea to save the celebratory drinks until an outcome is known.
