Please use this wonderfully informative newsletter to keep you and your family updated, but also share it with other RJR families and those that will be joining us next school year.

The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals and groups who perform community service. It is a national award. Students who are active in the community are encouraged to keep track of their hours from April 25, 2020 to April 16, 2021 and submit these hours to Anthony Grier, Assistant Principal, NO LATER THAN April 17, 2021. Students will be recognized at Class Day and on the website.
Students who are 16 or older and who complete at least 100 hours receive the Bronze Award. Students who complete at least 175 hours receive the Silver Award. Students who complete at least 250 hours receive the Gold Award.
Students who are 15 or younger have lower hour requirements--50 hours for Bronze, 75 for Silver, 100 for Gold.
A sample sheet is attached. Parents may NOT verify hours--adult sponsors or supervisors of activities should verify the hours. Groups who log at least 200 hours may also win this award. Clubs should consider submitting for the group award.
Please put your age on your form so we know what award level you should receive.
Graduation will be on June 9th at
Deaton Thompson Stadium

Adopt a Senior Demon! is underway on Facebook. We would like for every, single senior to have a sponsor family to send them encouraging notes, gift cards, and a final gift basket to celebrate them as they move through this challenging time and join RJR alumni. Feel free to reach out to Ms. Kirkland with questions at pehenderson@wsfcs.k12.nc.us

Booster Club News
A year ago was the first time we held a reverse raffle event to raise money for the RJR Athletic Booster Club, and it turned out to be such a fun and successful night!
With no way to hold fundraisers this year, the RJR Athletic Booster Club needs your help more than ever. Your support last year made it possible for students to attend Reynolds sporting events that otherwise wouldn’t have. Please help us reach our goal of raising $17,000 this year. Money raised will help fulfill so many needs for our student athletes and coaches.
