The Behavioral Coordinator will make independent decisions with school-based teams based on a high level of expertise in behavioral and instructional principles, as well as a strong understanding of IDEA, to work collaboratively with SESTA team members to continually improve SESTA services and supports. CONNECTING THE DOTS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Registration open through April 16
Early childhood teachers and related service providers will get a solid understanding of how to use evaluation results and anchor assessment information to determine ECO ratings and develop strong IEPs.  Participants will also learn how to encourage the involvement of families and community partners. This Hybrid Learning Series is offered April 28-May 6 or May 17-26. It includes a kick-off webinar, three (3) online modules, and a wrap-up webinar.  Watch video below to learn more and please share with Early Childhood teachers.

LAUNCHING THE IEP

Special education teachers will learn about specially designed instruction (SDI) and how to strengthen instruction using feedback and engagement strategies. Launching the IEP will be offered as a Hybrid Learning Series including three (3) online modules, a workbook to accompany the modules, and a follow-up webinar to pull all of the information together. IDAHO TIERED BEHAVIOR SUPPORTS
Informational Webinar April 12
Idaho Tiered Behavior Supports aims to create schools where ALL students can succeed and is a state-funded (no fee) program. Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based framework developed to assist school teams in providing preventative, positive behavioral support for ALL students. Idaho Tiered Behavior Supports (ITBS) will support selected districts (via application process) in implementing the PBIS framework. Learn more about ITBS in the video below or on the Idaho Tiered Behavior Supports webpage on the ITC.
