Hello Friend,
This week's Angel Oregon Tech will be focused on the due diligence process, specifically how to run the DD gauntlet and win. Former OEN Award winners Josh Englebrecht from Toolbelt and Gabe Paez from The Wild will join investor Catherine Blanksby and attorney Joe Bailey to give AOTech entrepreneurs the lowdown.
Extra special thanks this week go to the crew at Perkins Coie for sponsoring Angel Oregon Tech. Neal Nathanson has been a long-time supporter and volunteer for OEN, including the historic Angel Oregon events. Ann McQueston is an active OEN board member, and Joe Bailey will teach how to prepare for due diligence this week. Learn more about them at Perkins Coie.
Who are the AOTech entrepreneurs? There are about 90 of them in total, all tech startups from across the Pacific Northwest, including BC. About half are concept stage companies and half are growth, and nearly 40% include a founder or co-founder of color. If you're an angel investor interested in meeting them, there is still time to get involved! Please shoot us an email at info@oen.org to get details about joining the investor pool.
Save the date! We'll be partnering with Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) and Oregon Venture Fund (OVF) to host a fastpitch competition for the growth stage companies being considered for investment on April 6th and 8th from 4-5:30pm. Join us on the road to TechfestNW!
Cheers,
Amanda
PS: Tickets for TFNW will go on sale next week. Stay tuned for exciting speaker announcements...
