FRIDAY FAITH ON FILM
THE BLACK CHURCH:
THIS IS OUR STORY. THIS IS OUR SONG.
HOSTED BY HENRY LOUIS GATES JR.

We continue on Friday evenings on 19, and 26 March beginning at 6:30  as we watch this mini-series and discuss each segment.   We will use the Zoom meeting information for our worship service found above.

Please find the following message from Fr. Jeff Stevenson from St. Ann's Sayville regarding their Lenten Program. We will not be praying Evening Prayer on these Wednesdays, instead I ask that we enter into this opportunity to engage our faith with the our friends at St. Ann's.

6:00 PM / Wednesdays in Lent
We conclude Wednesdays in Lent on March 24, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM for our traditional Soup Supper & Bible Study program. The soup part starts at 6:00, with the Bible study immediately following at about 6:30. The Zoom link is the same one for the coffee hour on Sundays after the10:00am service.

For each of the four weeks, one of our Soup Makers will volunteer as the Master Chef du Jour and, while we are enjoying our home-made version of his specialty, the chef will do a Zoom demonstration of their Master Recipe.  For the program this year, Father Jeff will be speaking on the Rite of Reconciliation of the Penitent, better known as Confession.
Blessings,

Fr. Jeff Stevenson, HoSM
Rector
