It’s with great excitement that we announce Josh Wells as our Premier Grade Captain for the 2021 season. Josh joined our club as a nine year old and had played 10 seasons in our junior division before graduating into our senior ranks. Josh has previously led our Colts and Reserve Grade squads over the years and after many seasons of loyalty, dedication and success on the pitch, he was voted in by his team mates to lead the 2021 Premier Grade team. Josh is no stranger to Premier Grade and after several injuries, bounced back last season and captained our very successful 2020 Reserve Grade team.
“His promotion to lead our Premier Grade was a natural progression and as a club we should all be proud that yet again we have seen the success and clear progression of our junior pathway," Senior President Anthony Wall said.
“It’s an absolute honour to be appointed captain and to know I’ve got the boys trust and support behind me. We have some amazing people around us and a fantastic group of supporters that we want to make proud. We are all really excited about what’s ahead and are looking forward to getting back onto the field,” Josh said.
Josh will be assisted by Ryan King as Vice-captain, another Brothers junior who had a break out season for the Brothers in 2020. Josh and Ryan are joined by Maikali Robaro, Daniel James, Matt Holland and Johan Louw who form the leadership group.

Our junior training kicks off on Monday 22 March at HBF Arena, home of the Joondalup Brothers
All of our juniors will head down to the Arena to start their 2021 season.
