To the Tune of “The Bunny Hop”

A Passover with Zooming
Again, who wouldda thought?
The internet is booming
And we're all distraught!

We open the Hagaddah
We sing Ma Nishtanah
Had enough of you guys
Though you said Baruch HaBah!

Zoom over to our good friends
Stay with them a while
When we get up to the Maggid
We bid them all goodbye!

'Cause a hundred people on the screen
Is this a little much?
A chorus line of closest friends
Reach out but we can’t touch!

We link up with our family
We wave to them and smile
Stay with them till Dayenu
It's enough for a while!

We move on to the cousins
Just like we did last year,
I remember why we never meet
They drive us all to tears!

Four cups of wine is not enough
For us cooped up inside
Let's add a fifth for staying home
And go out for a ride.

Walkin’ thru’ the desert,
It took us 40 years;
Now we gotta wait 'til Fauci says,
"Go out and drink some beers!"

Another Seder Zooming,
Again? Who wouldda thought?
Waitin’ for our Covid shots
We’re all distraught!
