This year's Yom HaShoah Holocaust commemoration event will feature Dr. Elayne Robinson Grossman, conductor and music director of Sharim v’Sharot/People of Song. Dr. Grossman and her singers will present a lecture and demonstration entitled:  Voices Never Silenced, Instrumental Music in the Ghettos and Concentration Camps.  Associate Professor Susan Ashbaker, director of Westminster Choir College's Westminster Opera Theater and CoOPERAtive Program, and her singers will present an excerpt from Hans Kraza's Opera Brundibar. Rabbi Benjamin Adler of Adath Israel will lead the commemorative service.
