AIA History Walk around Sydney - led by our President and Historian, Neil Smith.
A walk through the city to highlight historic sites from the Indonesian Independence movement days pre-1946 and the early days of the AIA. The walk and talk will also cover the Aboriginal and colonial Australia past as well.
The walk will start at 10.00am at the statue of Rev Scott in Wynyard Park, York St. From there we will proceed to the former GPO building in Martin Place, then up George St to Town Hall. Then going through lanes and streets to Trades Hall Goulburn St, ending up in Dixon St for something to eat..
Free to members and $5 to non members.
