More Money, More Recovery for Alabama Schools
Alabama schools can expect over $2B dollars from the newly-passed American Rescue Plan, bringing total federal relief available to our schools to more than $3.2B. Read A+ VP of Policy, Dr. Matt L. Smith's breakdown of this new funding and how it can be spent here.

Also, right on the heels of the American Rescue Plan, the $7.6 billion education budget was approved by AL Senate on Thursday. It now goes to the AL House. The record budget includes a teacher pay raise, a new compensation plan for STEM teachers, support for Pre-K and early literacy, and more. Read our overview here
