Reimagine Plainfield Plan to Include a Downtown Feel for Corridor
The Plainfield Corridor Redevelopment Advisory Committee is expected later this month to release a draft of its Plainfield Avenue corridor redevelopment plan – known as Reimagine Plainfield – that includes a vision for adding “mini-downtowns” in multiple areas.

Trustees Consider Grant Application for Grand Rogue Park Improvements
The Plainfield Township Board of Trustees will consider during its Monday meeting whether to approve a state grant application for improvements at Grand Rogue Park.
Before voting on the proposed grant application, the Board will hold a virtual public hearing. A link to the meeting will be posted on the Board’s agenda webpage.

Be a Part of Two PFAS Studies
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is still accepting participants for two PFAS health studies, and Township residents with private wells may be eligible.
These studies will help recommend changes to public health policies and better protect communities that may be at greater risk of exposure to PFAS.

Township to Begin Spring Fire Hydrant Flushing
The Township this month will begin its regular spring flushing of water mains, which may result in discolored water.
If this happens, let your faucet run until it clears up. The discolored water is not harmful, but residents should wait for it to clear up before ingesting.
