Wednesday, March 31: NO Family meal night activities.

Thursday, April 1: 6-8 pm TBD Passover Seder - come learn the tradition of the Passover meal (Please RSVP no later than 3/25, the cost will be $4 per person $20max per family)

Friday, April 2: 5:30 pm-6:00 pm Good Friday Sermonette - 'The Crucifixion and Communion'

Saturday, April 3: 10 am Easter Eggstravaganza

Sunday, April 4: 7 am Sunrise Service - 'And their eyes were opened'
                            8 am Easter Breakfast - bring a dish to share
                            9:30 am Sunday School
                            10:45 am Worship - 'Lord prepare me'

  • Awana this Sunday is Dress a Mess! Bring a can of food and earn a buck for each can! DOUBLE BUCKS for each Bible verse said.
  • This Thursday, March 25th, Denise will be taking the church van to the Crabtree Mall for an excursion! The van will leave from the church parking lot at 8 am.
Prayer Requests
Prayer Requests:
 If you have any prayer requests, please let the office know by Wednesday.
 
  • Please pray for Linda Warner, she was taken to the hospital with cardiac issues.
  • Tabitha Brewer requested prayers for her friend Deborah Barnhill who has been fighting colon cancer for roughly 2 years. New scans this week showed a new sizable mass that has grown since last month’s scans in an area that has already been operated on, she needs lots of prayers. Her doctors have stopped all current treatment plans and are consulting with MD Anderson for the next steps.
  • Kathleen Davis’ son, Charles’ mother-in-law, Teresa Risty she is having knee replacement surgery Thursday, please pray for an easy recovery.
  • Dave Shaver’s surgery was a success pray for recovery.
  • Pray for Darren’s grandmother, Emily Willis, a mass was discovered in her stomach and she will require surgery and biopsy.
  • Please hold our Awana Clubber McKaylynn in your prayers as she will be having major surgery on March 22nd.
  • Rachel Dupre and David Phelps of the Atlantic Baptist Association have contracted covid. While David is recovering well, Rachel has been admitted. Please pray for a swift recovery for both.
  • Ray Derr’s leg has become infected; Ray and Sarah are requesting prayers for healing.
  • Please pray for Katie Long as she meets with an oncologist this Tuesday to discuss the best course of action to address a mass discovered on her ovary.
