Hobe Sound
16450 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455
$6.00 entrance free per vehicle (2 to 8 occupants)
$4.00 entrance free for single-occupant vehicle
Saturday, April 17, 2021
9:00am - 12:00pm
Join us on a exploration of Jonathan Dickinson State Park. We will venture out on a few of the park's trails. First, we will meet at the parking area adjacent to the Ranger Station for a very short out-and-back hike (0.3 miles total) on the Green Loop Trail to see ancient dunes and scrub plants. This trail will be sandy, but not too loose. Then we will caravan to the river area of the park and walk the Kitching Creek Nature Trail (1.4 miles). This trail may be wet or muddy in some spots. To end the trip, we will walk the Hobe Mountain Trail (0.4 mile boardwalk with stairs) to the observation tower overlooking the park.
