1.  £500 NHS WORKER BONUS NOW PAID
   • The bonus monies were paid into nominated practice accounts on 31st March 2021
     • Practices should now make arrangements to disperse these to all staff who qualified.
     • The designated person should have received a breakdown of the amounts for each individual staff member in an email.
       • Amounts were pro-rata'd at whatever percentage Whole Time Equivalent (WTE) was claimed.
     • Employees and associates should be made aware of how and when this will be paid.
     • The practice is only to act as an intermediary and should not keep any percentage of these monies.

   • Any queries about payments should be collated by the designated person and submitted as one bundle to this email address.
2. DISPOSAL 3M 1863 MASKS
   • The  3M 1863 revalidated supplies that were provided to dental practices expired on MARCH 31st 2021.
   • You must dispose of any unused stock as domestic waste.
     • The 3M 1863+ masks (note the subtle '+' at the end) are not affected.
3. ACCESSING YOUR GENERIC INBOX
   • All important emails specific to your practice continue to be delivered to your practice generic inbox
   • Please see this guide to accessing the generic inbox (only designated persons will be able to access this).
   • Practices must check this regularly.
4. PPE PECOS ORDERING
   • GG&C standard PPE (aprons, gloves, masks, visors) can now only be ordered via PECOS.
   • The next orders MUST BE IN BY NOON 8TH APRIL, if you miss the deadline you will not receive any PPE in the next delivery.
   • A training video, PECOS guidance, and GG&C guidance are available for those who didn't make the webinar.
   • Every practice will have an allocation based on their pre-COVID activity
     • It is for practices to know what their allocation is and stick to it.
     • It is our understanding that the system is not clever enough to block over-ordering at the basket/check-out stage, corrections are made at the other side.
     • Practices will be able to limit the volume of certain items that take up a lot of space (eg Visors).
   • NSS will send an advance supply of simple PPE to GGC dental practices w/c April 5^th to see practices through until the first online delivery w/c April 19^th
   • Orders placed and delivered via PECOS will not include enhanced PPE such as FFP3 masks and gowns for time-being; the current arrangement of collection from Stobhill hospital remains in place at this time.

5. NEW WHISTLEBLOWING PROCEDURES​
   • From April 1st 2021 an Independent National Whistleblowing Ombudsman was established.
   • As such, new whistleblowing guidance has been published.
   • We are advised that dental practices will receive guidance on how to implement this in coming months.
6. VACCINATION MOP UP CLINIC
   • The next 'mop-up' clinic for Covid Vaccine first doses can be booked via this link
     • This is for first doses only (for those who couldn't have first doses in Dec/Jan due to covid or pregnancy etc).
     • Team members with allergy issues should not use this link and should instead make themselves known to occupational health.
7. LDC MANDATES
   • Please take the time to complete a mandate to support the continued work of GG&C LDC. The process is entirely online and takes no more than a minute.
   • It is important to note that if you have moved practice or changed list number your previous mandate will no longer be active and you should sign a new one with each change. If in doubt sign one anyway, you won't increase your commitment if you accidentally duplicate your mandate.
