Dear Parents

Please be reminded of the guidelines for absence from school for a day.  A doctors note is required or a negative PCR test result.

Unfortunately we cannot allow days off for tiredness so we request that all follow the procedures above to ensure consistency across the school. This will support the teachers to adhere to the guidelines.

Travel protocol and guidance during the spring break will remain as previous and all must adhere to the current KHDA and DHA regulations:

  • All students and staff must declare recent travel history by completing the DHA form online: https://www.dha.gov.ae/en/Pages/coronaregistration.aspx use the NAS.Nurse@nasdubai.ae email address when completing
  • Schools will keep these declarations on file.
  • All students and staff who have returned from travel abroad require a negative PCR test with a 48-hour validity, in order to resume learning/working at school on Sunday 11th April 2021.
  • If students do not have a negative PCR test result with a 48-hour validity, they will be required to quarantine for 10 days from their arrival date in Dubai.

Please note that PCR test results are valid for 48 hours only from the date of result. The PCR test may be done at a Dubai airport or an approved DHA testing facility within the Emirate.

Thank you and stay safe,

Cheryl McSweeney
