A Newsletter for Your Spiritual Nature
Communicating people's worth and potential so clearly that they are inspired to see it in themselves.
Our spiritual nature is to hope and dream and visualize and to connect to our purpose in life. It’s the trigger that motivates us to encounter, discover, create, and synthesize meaning, purpose and values in our lives and to seek a greater good. It enables us to access unconscious aspects of the self and to embed these higher meanings, values, and purposes in living a richer and more creative life. It makes us whole, and gives us our integrity. It helps us ask fundamental questions and reframe our answers. It transforms us.

Create Peace

I rise to taste the dawn, and find that love alone will shine today.

Joy - THE JOY OF MY HEART IS MY GUIDING LIGHT.

Joy is the expansion of the heart. My joy is a sparkling gem of spiritual activity that buoys my spirit. My heart expands in joy when I learn of stories about a person who has gone out of the way to help someone else or whose small gesture makes a monumental difference in another’s life.

Opening to the feelings that bubble up when I observe such actions, I am inspired to act in kind. I give from a place of joy to lend a helping hand to someone in need or provide humor to lift someone’s spirit.

In turn, my joy deepens and expands. I choose to live from the joy in my heart, which is the guiding light of my thoughts and actions. I find deep, lasting fulfillment in all I do.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.—Galations 5:22-23

It's funny how many of our problems result from our entirely unrealistic expectations of what Life is Supposed to be Like. I don't see inscribed anywhere on my birth certificate a promise that life was going to be easy or simple — and yet a part of me deeply resents the fact that it isn't easy or simple, as though I had a right to that.

Resurrection

Resurrection is God’s way of telling us that God can take the worst thing in the world—the killing of the God-Human Jesus—and change it into the best thing: the redemption of the world. Resurrection and renewal are, in fact, the universal and observable pattern of everything. If material creation is inspirited–incarnation–then resurrection in multitudinous forms is to be fully expected. It is not that one thing is a miracle, but that the whole thing is a miracle! The Risen Christ is not a one-time miracle but the revelation of a universal pattern that is hard to see in the short run. If death is not possible for the Christ, then it is not possible for anything that “shares in the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4). God is by definition eternal, and God is Love (1 John 4:16), which is also eternal (1 Corinthians 13:8), and this same Love has been planted in our hearts (Romans 5:5; 8:9) by the Spirit dwelling within us. Such fully Implanted Love cannot help but evolve and prove victorious, and our word for that final victory is “resurrection.”

May peace fill your life so love will overflow,

May the long time sun shine upon you

All love surround you

And the pure light within you

Guide your way on

Let me fall if I must. The one I will become will catch me.
