Downtown Streetscape Reminders
The west side of Lincoln Avenue will be closed for parking from March 15 through late April. Parking will remain available on the east side of Lincoln Avenue, Elm Street, and in the parking lots of off Elm and Lincoln. Businesses will remain open and accessible during construction, and ample parking will be available.

Last Week to Enter the Take Out Challenge
Winnetka's Take Out Challenge ends on Thursday, April 15. Submit receipts to every restaurant totaling more than $150 and be entered to win two VIP tickets to the 2021 Winnetka Music Fest, permitting it takes place this September 10-11, 2021.

Nominations Open For "Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award"
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the "Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award," which celebrates the success of one small business and honors its contributions to the growth and diversity of the American economy. This award recognizes a small business that exemplifies the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and individual initiative.

PPP Deadline Extended to May 31
On March 30, 2021, President Biden signed the PPP Extension Act of 2021 into law, extending the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) an additional two months to May 31, 2021. This extension provides an additional 30-day period for businesses to submit applications for the forgivable loan program. The PPP is a loan designed to provide direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on payroll. Additionally, borrowers may be eligible for PPP loan forgiveness.
