Hello NCC Family!

It was wonderful worshipping with you all in-person and online this past Sunday! Please read through this email to see what's coming up in the next week and ways to get plugged in with the mission to WELCOME, GROW, SERVE and GO.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I so enjoyed celebrating Easter with you.  The Christmas season is enjoyable, but celebrating the Resurrection comes at the top of my “favorite days” lists.  True, without his Incarnation, there would be nothing to celebrate at Easter.  But it is our Lord’s death, burial and resurrection that is the pivotal moment of all history.  It is the culmination of the plan God initiated at the beginning of time when sin slithered into the Garden of Eden marring the beauty of God’s creation and setting humanity on a collision course with sin’s destructiveness.  Consequently, what took place in and around Jerusalem two thousand years ago, was God’s eternal remedy for our spiritual condition.  Jesus’ death paid the penalty for our sin that we could not pay; his resurrection guarantees that we, too, will eventually be raised and made imperishable and incorruptible, suited for eternal life in heaven.  I do not know what people do without that hope!  Aren’t you glad you know him as the risen Savior and Lord?

Continue to remember Andrew and Kayla in your prayers as they inform their congregation this Sunday of their decision to begin a new ministry with NCC.  Pray that God will give them wisdom and discernment as they wind up one ministry and begin another here in Brown County.

We have two more Sundays in our Game Changer series.  Sunday’s message will take us to the city of Jericho as recorded in Luke 19.  I’m looking forward to seeing you and worshipping with you again!

Andrew and Kayla Cullen will be joining our congregation in mid-May.  We are very happy to have them join us and to see how God will be using their ministry as we begin this new chapter in the history of NCC.  Please be in prayer for both Andrew and Kayla as they begin their transition to Nashville.  If you have any questions, please let us know.
