Kudos/ Celebrations:
Congratulations to all of the school districts that have announced full openings in the last two weeks! It is beyond exciting to know that so many children will finally be back in school every day. We are relieved that science guided these districts' decisions and we are also very glad that there is an option for families who are not yet comfortable returning to school.
There is still work to do as not all districts in our county have committed to full reopening for all students this year. If you would like your district to do more, make your voice heard!
Upcoming Meetings:
We’d love to have representatives from each district share with us upcoming district board meetings, webinars, etc. so we can list them here! We also need volunteers to take notes at these meetings to share with the group. Email sccsfamilies@gmail.com if you would like to help!
Santa Cruz City:
Apologies if we've left anything out! There is so much information and a lot of moving parts. We will do our best to keep up. Let us know if there is something you’d like to include next time.
Please share freely!
