🍜 ONLINE LUNCHTIME SOCIAL: Get-together for new (and new-ish) members!
When: Thursday, April 8th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Where: Online, via Zoom
We know it can be intimidating to show up to an event (virtual OR in-person) when you don't know anyone!
To help mitigate that, we're having one of our semi-annual social events just for people who haven't attended a Women in Tech meetup yet, or haven't attended one in the last six months. Feel free to join anytime between noon and 1pm - we'll have all the organizers introduce themselves, briefly talk about WiT and what we do, give a quick tour of our new website, and then open it up to group chat and intros.

Venture Build Engineer (2 spots available)
This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of "insurance-adjacent" projects and help define their future. We’ll look to you to take initiative with new projects in determining technical fit and feasibility for projects and work to develop those concepts through MVP to a market-ready product. The hands-on element is just that: building the tech, doing technical due diligence, and exploring emerging trends. An optimal candidate will have strong technical skills as well as an understanding or interest in creating valuable businesses. Our methodology includes a lot of market validation, which means we change direction, and this role requires supporting those changes and helping understand when they are appropriate.
