WOMAN'S PERSONAL SAFETY WORKSHOPS

The Women’s Personal Safety Workshops are one way the VPD is giving back to the community.

In January 2013, a group of VPD female police officers came together and created the VPD Women's Personal Safety Team.

The tactics taught are designed to be easily learned and remembered by women who have no prior training. These workshops are to educate, inspire, and empower women to take ownership of their personal safety and the next one will take place on April 15th, 2021. For more information click read more below.
