Greetings!
We hope you are doing well and staying healthy. The 7/15 Norwalk Project Team is continuing our work to complete the environmental documentation for the project.
Over the past year, we have focused on analyzing the potential benefits and impacts of the two alternatives (21D and 26) within the environmental documentation process.
Additionally, we held virtual meetings as we work to complete the Section 106 process. The Section 106 process is a more detailed review of potential impacts on cultural resources. These meetings included consulting parties such as the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), the Advisory Council of Historic Preservation (ACHP), the National Trust, and local historic preservation groups. In the coming months, we will incorporate the completed Section 106 process into the environmental document.
Once done, the environmental document will be available for review on the project website and public libraries and offices.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
