What do you want to create with technology? Raspberry Pi welcome all types of projects, so let your imagination run free! Whatever your project idea is, we'd love for you to share it with the Coolest Projects community.

You can register one project as an individual and one as part of a group, per category.

Projects must be presented in English, and the deadline to register your final project is 3 May. Check out  Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Knowles Hardware Grant

Wevolver, in partnership with Knowles, is providing hardware grants to support engineers in the development of the next generation of audio products.  so they giving away twenty IoT and Home Automation IA611 Xplained Pro Development Kits to help you create voice-activated systems for various applications such as IoT, mobile, and ear-worn devices. 

To apply for the grant, simply submit this brief form, describing how you will use the Knowles Development Kit. The twenty most innovative responses will receive the free kit.
In addition to the development kit, the top 5 submissions will be invited to participate in a private group innovation webinar with key Knowles engineers who will share their vision for voice at the edge.

Seeed has organized a skill-based competition for you. This competition aims to build project tutorials for Wio Terminal and other embedded hardware using TinyML/Edge Impulse/Azure IoT Central/IoT Plug and Play. To decide the final prize winners, all qualifying entries will be judged using the judging criteria outlined below.

Eyes on Edge: tinyML Vision Challenge! With tinyML Foundation


For the first time, the tinyML Foundation has launched a contest for developers worldwide, challenging them to build advanced applications with low-power machine learning inferencing and computer vision for edge devices.

$6,000 in prizes to the top three submissions. Judges will score your projects based on the judging criteria outlined in the rules tab.

Instructables CNC Contest 

This contest is open to all projects that use, create, or are in any way related to computer numerically controlled ("CNC") machines. This includes CNC mills and lathes, laser cutters, 3D printers and more.

There is a special Judges prize for our favourite Instructable that uses Autodesk Fusion 360.

Make It Real: Student Design Challenge #3

In this final challenge, present a game plan for how you would construct James Develin's gym. You must make it work for the environment, the surrounding community, and his budget.

You can create your own new design, use one that you previously submitted to the contest, or reference a design that was submitted to the contest by someone else. If you are referencing the work of others, be sure you have permission and give proper attribution based on the license. (See official contest rules for more information.) You’ll need to write a detailed plan with illustrations that make a compelling case for your chosen design and why it is also the most constructible.

Finance Minister Inaugurates India’s First 3D Printed House At IIT Madras


Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on April 27 inaugurated India's first 3D printed house at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras campus. The house has been constructed by Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions, a startup founded by IIT Madras alumni, which is a is part of the new incubator of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) established at IIT Madras.
