Article 1: Vote for Don Provencher and Wolfram von Schoen as incumbents. Nobody else is running unless there’s a write in campaign.
Article 2: Convert treasurer from elected to appointed. We are personally opposed to this but the other commissioners support it. We feel that an elected position is serving as another set of independent eyes.
Article 3: Elect a treasurer if article 2 fails. No candidate. You may write in a candidate.
Article 4: Raise and appropriate operational budget. $4.47M as proposed. Vote in favor.
Article 5: Raise and appropriate contingency fund. $20k. Vote in favor.
Article 6: Raise and appropriate for emergency water (from Pennichuck or Manchester) and/or PFAS filtration. $100k. Vote in favor.
Article 7: Raise and appropriate $248k as System Development Capital Reserve. Vote in favor.
Article 8: Raise and appropriate $100k as Equipment and Facilities Capital Reserve. Vote in favor.
Please note that you can only vote on the candidates and some of the articles if you happen to vote by absentee ballot, as the others can be amended on the floor.
