Holy Week Worship Online
We invite you to join us for each of these three worship services online as we commemorate the meaning and significance of Jesus passion—his suffering and death on the cross, and our celebration of his resurrection:

Maundy Thursday & Good Friday - April 1 & 2
Posted Online Thursday by 5:00 PM
We observe the events leading up to Jesus’ death on the cross using the format of a Tenebrae service which includes the extinguishing of seven lighted candles resulting in the experience of darkness. We recommend viewing it Thursday or Friday evening and having seven lighted candles as your only source of light (other than the computer). Then extinguish candles as the service progresses until it ends in darkness.
Holy Saturday – April 3
Posted Online by Saturday Noon
This service begins with the lighting of the Christ candle signifying the hope of the resurrection. Musical selections punctuate the reading of God’s saving acts in history which culminates in Jesus’ death on the cross. A pastoral reflection on baptism will remind us of our identification with Christ’s death. And observance of the Lord’s Supper reminds us of Christ’s love and saving grace. Be sure to have the elements for communion on hand to participate in this worship.
Easter Sunday – April 4
We celebrate the reality of Christ’s resurrection with exuberant joy and musical fanfare and reflect on the importance of Jesus’ statement, “I am the resurrection and the life” and its implication for our own lives.
