VIRTUAL MISSIONSTRIP
May
Travel to Thailand - virtually. Yes, we are still going on a Mission’s trip this year to Thailand with Imagine Thailand, meeting University students in Bangkok.
This is a great opportunity to meet new students for fun, fellowship, ministry and a cross cultural exchange. We have come up with an initial itinerary to be fleshed out once we have a team.
Fair warning, with the time difference, we will be meeting three times at 5am for an hour and a half. This is the best time for our friends overseas, 7pm their time. We also need 2-3 students to help organize the events.

MERCH DESIGN CONTEST

We want this year's merch to be YOURS so we're holding a DESIGN CONTEST✨ (woot woot). Here are the details:
1) Create a graphic or drawing (We're happy to help digitize it later with you!)
2) If you'd like to (No obligation though!), feel free to use the UCM Logo, however DON'T ALTER IT. The UCM logo needs to have certain margins around it and be placed on a contrasting background. If you're not sure if you're allowed to do something, feel free to send an email! (You can find the logo HERE)
3) Send the graphic/drawing to iainwcop@gmail.com by Saturday, April 10!
After this, the community will get a chance to vote on which design is their favourite! The winner will get FREE MERCH!!

G-HOUSE RENTERS
The UCM Bernice Gerard House is the on-campus home for UCM at UBC. This house is a core part of our campus ministry and acts as the central hub of the wider community. We maintain this house for 6-7 male residents seeking to engage in peer-to-peer discipleship and participate with UCM at UBC as leaders in the community. Our hope is to cultivate a space where the residents can flourish in their walk with God. UCM is happy to be in partnership with the PCDA (Pacific Centre for Discipleship Association) in this mission.
Our priority will be in housing current UBC students. However, all people affiliated with the UBC campus in some way are welcome to apply as well. Housing offers will be decided based on the information provided in this application, personal/pastoral references, and in-person (or phone call/video chat) interviews.
