My new studio(s), in person workshops, zoom sessions and kits.
April has arrived...
I'm just hoping we don't get toooo many showers! Now the days are longer and things have started to relax, it feels like it might be time to start making moves towards the next steps for my arts practice. Below you'll find details of workshops, in person and on Zoom, along with some teasers about what you can expect to see me doing in June!!!
Following government guidelines, from the 29th March, I can welcome you in to my studio for 1-2-1s and single household/bubble bookings.
I have taken the time to work out a simple costing for individuals (groups will vary) and I hope you'll understand if it looks different to what you might have seen in previous years. Simply put, £30 for the first 2 hours, further hours £10 per hour. To include standard firings and use of all materials and equipment. Materials for your project will be worked out at cost.

Still fancy staying at home but want to hear my voice? You know I can talk for hours. Well, I have two Zoom workshops planned for Sat 24th April.
Booking deadline is 14th April (preferably sooner) so I can gather your packs together and post them out if needed. A few more details on facebook.
Flower Garden Art & Bowls - 10am
Options on colour and size/form, this sessions is proving popular.
£25 standard workshop fee then just add on your makes (prices vary from £7 - £22) plus P&P if safe collection from my studio in Banks Mill can't be arranged.
Glitzy Glass Jewellery - 1pm
Create your own pendants, drop earrings, studs, rings, brooches and cufflinks full of colour and sparkle.
£30 workshop fee then just pay for what you make on the day plus P&P if safe collection from my studio in Banks Mill can't be arranged.
To give an idea, a pair of earrings on Sterling Silver findings will cost £3.50.
Prefer to make in peace and quiet, at your own pace? That's fine too.
Plenty of kits available to order through my online shop, I know many of you have put in a note to say they are going to be gifted on. I love that! The idea that you're sharing our love of sparkles with even more people, makes me smile.

The £15 minimum monthly subscription gives me a bit of stability to be able to drive my creative workshops and kits forward and my fabulous members receive a welcome gift, access to a secret page on my website and enjoy exclusive offers/discounts off purchases. Giving me ideas, guiding me to create what you want, it's an open invite for you to be an active part of my sparkly business.
I'm not the kind of creative that enjoys change but the last year has shown that as humans we can adapt and you have all helped me to prove to myself that I can take the next step in my little business.
I have said yes to an opportunity to run a creative space in Wirksworth, a wonderful market town in Derbyshire. I'm excited to be there, open to the public for a few days each week with a permanent display of my work (and other makers) alongside a large workshop.
BUT
I am also planning on keeping a smaller studio at Banks Mill for a time where much of my admin work, photography and some small workshops can be run for those who are unable to travel to Wirksworth.
