Stop, Think and Check – Play your part to stop the spread of misinformation!

A new page is now available on the Keeping safe online for practitioners and families about how to stop the spread of misinformation.

It includes information about different types of misinformation such as ‘fake news’, top tips to spot misinformation, teaching resources and resources for families

New 360 safe Cymru online safety self-review tool launched

This major update will make the tool easier and quicker to use. There are fewer aspects for schools to review, but now has additional functionality and reports. The level statements in the tool and the accompanying content policy templates have been updated in line with current statutory guidance. The new tool will save time, reduce workload, and make the self-review process more efficient.

Healthy relationships with others and technology - new playlists available

Five new playlists are now available on Hwb around healthy relationships for a range of audiences - primary and secondary aged learners, governors, parents and carers as well as education practitioners. The aim of these playlists is to explore what makes a relationship healthy or unhealthy, and the risks around online relationships.

A family guide to talking about healthy relationships and the internet

This guide explains in more detail the various issues, myths and risks associated with online relationships. You’ll also find tips on how to talk to your child about developing and experiencing healthy ones.
