Park Improvements and New Construction

Turf has been installed on both sides of Gary Pirkle Park. While a few items need to resolve before the west side opens, the east side of GPP is complete and open. Gold Mine Park's construction is currently out for bid with plans to get under-way in early summer. The nine acre park will serve as a trailhead on the city's greenway and offers a chance for guests to learn more about the city's gold mining history.

Sugar Hill Greenway

TriScapes Construction (TSI) has substantially completed the 2,000 linear feet of a new concrete trail along Level Creek Road. They are now working on the asphalt portions of the trail through the old EE Robinson Park (North). The raised crosswalk and retaining walls have also been completed in this section.
