Re: Confirmed COVID-19 Case at Muskegon Montessori Academy for Environmental Change but not impacted-3/31/21
Dear Muskegon Montessori Academy for Environmental Change Parents/Guardians, Please read this letter in its entirety.
We have been informed that someone at Muskegon Montessori Academy for Environmental Change has a confirmed case of COVID-19, based on test results obtained on 3/30/21. Per school policy, this person has been directed to self-quarantine for 10 days until permitted to return and the areas that this person was in will be deep cleaned.
We wanted to inform you of this case, however, based on the information we have gathered, we do not believe that your student has come into contact with the confirmed-positive case.
We encourage you to continue monitoring your students' health and take precautions when possible. Please inform Ms. Melissa if your student begins experiencing virus symptoms or flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, sneezing or sore throat; or you test positive for COVID-19.
We will treat information regarding the identity of anyone with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 as confidential. As a school family, per our school policy, we will not tolerate harassment of or discrimination or retaliation against anyone.
