A human rights attorney in Washington, D.C., at WCAPS, Neda advocates to advance women of color in the fields of peace, security and conflict transformation, and manages all WCAPS projects and programs.
Neda also Co-Chairs the WCAPS Southwest Asia and North Africa Working Group and the Young Ambassadors Program. Neda previously volunteered as the National Director of Arab American Engagement on the Biden for President Campaign, is a 2020 DNC President Fellow, and leads Team DC at Arab America.
Prior to WCAPS, Neda represented Arab and Muslim asylum seekers and refugees, political prisoners and other human rights defenders in discrimination and immigration cases at the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, after her time at the United Nations Security Council in New York, where she conducted legal compliance of state security strategies.
