Spring has sprung and it feels great to feel some warmth again. The change of season along with the spring equinox and longer (hopefully warmer) days is often a signal for us to think about Spring cleaning at home and also of our health.
This is our preferred time of year to consider a cleanse or spring clean of your diet now spring itself is here. My suggestions for this year in particular would be gentle, positive steps in light of the difficult last few months we have all experienced. Avoid harsh restrictive regimes and instead, look to add in positives such as an additional three portions of vegetables or salad each day, seeing by the end of the week how many different foods you have been able to add into your meals. You could also treat yourself to a weekly magnesium salts bath.
Try something new to drink, such as a matcha or a turmeric latte and start your day with cleansing but invigorating Pukka Aloe Vera Juice. Juicing has become part of my daily regime since the first lock down and I love it. Another good addition to your day would be to add in a liver support supplement. All these things have health benefits but are also positive and enjoyable; as well as cleansing, you are nurturing and boosting yourself.
Throughout April we will be posting our tips and advice across our social feeds but do come in and see us for inspiration too. We are very pleased to have reopened our doors for shopping in store and look forward to seeing you!
