PRSC presents
School of Activism 2.0
3-18 April 2021
We define activism as ‘Active Citizenship’.
The process of taking care of and taking part in your community.
You are not a victim of circumstance.
So change it.
Our second School of Activism starts TOMORROW with a wide ranging timetable of online events covering social media, the environment, radical history, technology, labour rights, land justice, art for social change, hands-on makes, and much more! Thanks to recent moves from an increasingly authoritarian government, this programme seems more relevant than ever.
You'll find the full curriculum listed below, with two new events just added - Draw your own nude: YOU ARE ART with artist Ru Wormington, and a discussion on what we can do to end male violence.
Almost* all the events are pay-what-you-can, so that everyone has access. The suggested donation of £4 helps us keep the School of Activism as accessible & low-cost as possible, £8 subsidises a ticket for someone else, but no-one turned away through lack of funds. Tickets are available from Headfirst** – booking is advised as spaces are limited. We'd look forward to seeing you there!
* Some of these workshops would not be possible without ticket sales
** All except the mini-projector, those tickets are here

School of Chativism
If you're feeling hyped about all this educating, and you wanna connect with other SoA students to talk about what you've learnt, and/or discuss the future of ethical social media, then this is for you...
"The School of Chativism is an experimental social media space that will run for the duration of the School of Activism 2.0. This is the place to discuss and share events at SOA2. But it's also a space for questioning what social media currently is, and what it could be, for activists and activism. We can remake it as we go, transform it throughout SOA2.“
