David Rootham has written and recorded a poem entitled "His Grace in a Year of Pandemic". The recording is available on our YouTube channel
Blessing our community in practical ways
Thanks to your kind donations over the last few weeks we have been able to bless people with hampers containg treats such as chocolates, snacks and handcream and many other things. Further donations are welcome - just drop them off at GBC.
 
Annual Review 2020
The church Annual Review is now available on the website, click here.
Printed copies are available on the reception desk at the entrance to GBC.

Many thanks to all those who have contributed by sharing their experiences of God's blessing during a difficult year.
Karen Smith writes: "As the end of two years of resettlement was reached at the end of March, we have been ‘officially’ thanked by the Home Office for our contribution so far in resettling over 500 refugees through community sponsorship.
This recent blog post from Birmingham University may be of interest as it reflects on what motivates Faith groups to get involved."
GenR8 is a Cambridge-based Christian charity working with primary schools and churches in the area. They support learning about the Christian faith in schools through a variety of different programmes. Their 2020 review is available here
