Yes, it's no April Fool's joke. Unbelievably, it snowed today! This isn't actually a huge surprise; the frost date for my zip code is actually six weeks away - May 13th!

Nonetheless, it's frustrating. Spring feels like it wants to get sprung. Or perhaps it's just us?

Spring Vibes

The above Big Oak Tree Hat is part of a series of yellow-colored, tree-inspired hats that I created a couple of years ago.

While the buttery color of yellow is lovely AND cheerful, it's not always a color that many are comfortable wearing. I guess that we worry that it makes us look sallow?

Even though sallowness is not one of my worries, I don't think that I wore any YELLOW until I moved to where I now live (just outside of Pittsburgh). If you follow professional sports, you may have heard that Black -n- Gold are the city's official colors.

Maybe that's why the color has crept into my wardrobe and felted creations??? So far, there are Yellow Tree Hats and Yellow Bridge Hats. Only one of the latter is still available!
