Mirrors & Portals: Contribute to the Community Poem
The Manchester Library Community celebrates April, National Poetry Month, by creating its very own original poem, following a theme and first lines supplied by Manchester Poet Claire North. Let the theme “Portals and Mirrors” inspire your imagination and shape your thoughts. The lines needn’t be in any chronological order; simply use the theme as your muse. Entries are invited from April 5th to April 22nd. Afterwards they will be knitted together into one collective creation. The poem will be shared widely and read at the Poetry Salon hosted by the Library on Friday, April 30th. Save the date! We offer thanks to Claire North for shepherding this special gift into the world. Join our poetry project!
