Sadly for many of us, face coverings are here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future. All the more reason to find one that you like. Of course, they're not meant to be a fashion accessory, but given that they cover most of your face, it's important that you find aesthetically pleasing ones.
You can't go wrong with your best neutral colours, and depending on your palette, these could be shades of stone, pale grey, coffee, nude, navy and forest green (to name but a few). A good tip is to pop a mask of the same colour as your jacket/coat/trench into the pocket. That way, you will always have one on hand, and it will match your outerwear.
Prints can look fabulous but are also restrictive, especially if you want to achieve a co-ordinated look. Some brands offer matching masks and clothes; a great solution if you have a special event to attend.
Matching your mask to your hair accessories is also a trend right now. The ones above are from Etsy (purchase here).
Natural fabrics such as cotton and silk will help you to keep cool in warmer months. Something to consider if you suffer in the heat. |

Can the colour you wear really affect your mood? Yes it can. In fact, there have been many studies conducted over the years to prove just this.
You can influence your mood each morning as you select which clothes to wear. Yellow is a mood busting colour as it evokes positivity. Red is stimulating whilst green represents harmony. Blue will give you confidence and orange is synonymous with energy. Of course it's important that you select your best shade of any colour or it could end up wearing you or worse, make you appear unwell. Just use your Colour Wallet to guide you on the shade of the colour, and you cant go wrong!
So, as you get dressed tomorrow morning, choose a colour that will reflect how you want to feel. Try it, you may be surprised. |

Can I have a rummage in your make-up bag? Chances are, you've not being wearing much since lockdown. Don't forget that make-up has a shelf life, and keeping it for a long time is a recipe for bacteria and other nasties.
But, before you ditch it, why not book in with me for a Make-Up Prescription. I'll show you an easy routine using your best colours, and have a good rummage through your own make-up bag to check what you already have. You'll leave with a shopping list, so that you can recreate this look.
