We've spent the last few months redeveloping the DAY Programme, both to be able to offer our training online and to REBOOT the materials! After a decade of running the DAY Programme, we knew it was time to redevelop our materials to ensure that we are providing practitioners with the best resources to work with young people.
We're so excited to announce that we now offer ONLINE DAY TRAINING! If you've been waiting for the opportunity to train, you can now join us online from wherever you are.
The training is five half-days and will be run via Zoom. Training includes:
5x half-day training with full instruction in running the DAY Programme.
1x DAY Pack (for delivering the programme).
1x unlimited access to the DAY Hub (containing all DAY multimedia content and printable materials).
Evaluation process for effectively evaluating the impact of the course.
Training sessions include:
Understanding youth culture and adolescent development.
DAY Programme creator, Natalie Collins, has been super busy with the Own My Life course over the last year! Years in the making, Natalie has now trained over 300 practitioners to facilitate the course and it's running across the UK with women who have been subjected to abuse. The online training and the course, have been described as "mindblowing" and "life changing". For those interested in training to run the course with women, Natalie is running facilitator training monthly.
