New F-One Rocket Air Range

By media on Apr 01, 2021 07:47 am

Discover the most complete inflatable foilboard range!

Starting at 4’10 (75L) and going all the way to 7’11 (185L) the Rocket Air line includes boards for all sports and all types of riders. They are developed following the same sizes & outlines as the rigid boards and offer great stability with the extra volume brought by the inflatable technology. The foil position is also identical to the rigid boards and provides the same perfect balance for take-off and in flight.

New for this year, F-One has added a size 7'2 to the lineup as well as swapped out the Tuttle box on all of their inflatable boards for 4x foil inserts.

  • The 4’10 and 5’4 can be used for surfing, kiting, wingsurfing and are also ideal to have fun wakefoiling.
  • The 5’4, 5’10 and 6’6 are ideal sizes for wingfoiling with a Swing or Strike and are available in a variety of volumes to suit everyone.
  • The 7’2 is dedicated to wingfoiling, it's the ideal size to start the sport.
  • The 7’6 and 7’11 are the real Swiss Army Knife boards, ready for all sorts of fun: SUP foil, wingfoil, windfoil, or wingsurf. They can also be used to play or paddle without the foil.
  • The 7’2, 7’6 and 7’11 include 2x US tracks and 2x additional anti drift fins. In this configuration it becomes the best platform to learn how to handle a wing before learning how to foil later on.

The Rocket Air boards are built using higher grade dropstitch with a fused, twin layer shell and a specific dropstitch pattern bringing extra stiffness which is essential to control the board properly when foiling. The weight of the board is incredibly light which makes them easy to handle and a lot of fun, even for advanced riders. Finally, the Rocket Air boards can all be stored in a small bag to be easily brought on for your next adventure.

Why You Should Definitely Learn How to Wingfoil

By media on Mar 29, 2021 02:12 pm

Wingfoiling is a new and exciting sport that allows you to feel free in the water, yet totally in control. Safe, accessible and easy to learn, Antoine Auriol gives you all the best reasons you should consider learning to wingfoil.

Compact

Wingfoiling gear, if chosen correctly, can be extremely compact. Take F-One's inflatable Rocket Air board, the ultra compact size of the gear allows you to easily pack and bring it on board with you. With foils that are easy to set up and brake down, wingfoiling is a very travel-friendly sport.

Accessibility

Wingfoiling opens up locations you never imagined you'd kite or that may be off limits to kiteboarding. With no threats like trees, power lines and wind shadows, all you need is enough space to pump up your wing, then it's easy to launch from anywhere.

Light Wind

The range of wind speeds that you can go wingfoiling in range from 10 knots to 40+ knots. A great option on light wind days or in gusty winds, wingfoiling allows you to practice in all conditions.

Easy to Learn

This new discipline is relatively easy to learn. Unlike kiteboarding, wingfoiling does not require hours of lessons. If you are patient, consistent and motivated, you will be up and winging in no time.

Safety

Wingfoiling is fun and safe for kids and adults of all ages. With no lines attaching you to the wing and the ability to control the power of your wing with your arms, you can turn the power on and off anytime you want.

Adrenaline

From the first time you foil up you'll be hooked. The feeling of frictionless gliding over the water while learning and challenging yourself with sometime new will keep your stoke level high for sessions to come.
