The Ecovillage Summit: Living Solutions for a Regenerative World is about to begin!

Starting April 9th at 5pm (UTC), we will connect with more than 40 speakers and ecovillages from all over the world and get to know the people who are developing real and practical solutions to the global crisis we are experiencing.

Our lineup includes speakers such as Charles Eisenstein (Trailer here), Ailton Krenak & Ruby Wax, and members of communities from all five regions including Damanhur (Trailer here), Sekem, Crystal Waters, Dancing Rabbit, Aldeafeliz, Findhorn and many more.

Interviews will be posted everyday at 5 pm UTC - and be online for 48 hours. We are working on Spanish, Portuguese, French subtitles for the ecovillage interviews. We might not be able to have all with subtitles but most of them!

If you are looking for real connections, for meaningful networking and if you are eager to join the conversation, in this 3rd edition we are offering the Local Hubs as well as our new online space for social interactions, Hylo. We will be able to move towards co-creativity, togetherness, integration and celebration with each other and our environment.

If you are not a part of the problem, we invite you to join the solution! Register now for free and join the conversation at summit2021.ecovillage.org

Note: Even if you are already on GEN’s main newsletter mailing list or are otherwise subscribed to updates from GEN through email or social media, you will need to register for the Summit specifically on the Ecovillage Summit site to receive access to Summit videos.

A Special Online Learning Opportunity
Ecovillage Design Education

If you want to deepen your learning, inspiration and connection with ecovillages together with a smaller group after the Online Summit, we strongly recommend that you check out our online Ecovillage Design Education, or EDE. Launching April 17 and continuing with live weekend sessions, it offers an opportunity to connect live with 15 of the most experienced teachers and facilitators in GEN from 10 different countries (see below).

Learn actively together with others, work on your own project design with team support, and gain a reputable certification. If you want to sample what the EDE is about before you make the investment, we've opened up the first session for free! On April 17th, facilitators will host an introduction to the course where you can get a better sense of the themes we will explore, who's involved, and how you can apply it in your life. Separate registration is required here.

If you're ready to step into the transformative learning adventure to build your capacity to contribute to a thriving society within planetary boundaries, find out more here.
Hear from one of the facilitators, Daniel Greenberg, as he shares why he feels this course is so important during these times.
We're pleased to offer discounts for GEN Ambassadors, groups, students, and for previous EDE participants who want to refresh their knowledge and re-connect with leading members in the network. Don't let limited finances be an obstacle.

We also offer Scholarships for people from the Global South, from a non-majority background and/or from a crisis area. These will be allocated according to country of residence/origin, gender balance, diversity of ethnic background and cultural heritage, meaningful role and service in your community. Contact edeonlinelive@gmail.com
