Message from the Priest-in-Charge

Dear friends,

Happy Easter! I have celebrated Easter six times as a priest, and I must say that this past Sunday was the most joy-filled and life-giving Easter I've experienced. What a message of new life and hope to celebrate Jesus' resurrection with you all!

Thank you to all who helped to set up, read, intercess, greet, and clean up for our worship services. And thank you to our choir for helping to create a joyful experience by sharing their voices!

Outdoor Worship
From now on, we will worship outside each weekend until it is safe to return to indoor worship. In the case of bad weather, there will be no in-person worship; the services will be held indoors and streamed online. If the forecast looks iffy, check our website, our Facebook page, or channel WFMZ 69 for cancellations. We will announce cancellations by 12:00 pm for the 5:00 Saturday service, and by 8:00 pm (Saturday) for Sunday morning services.

Additionally, we will return to streaming online only the 10:30 service, rather than all three services. The exception, of course, is if there is bad weather.

Daughters of the King Installation This Sunday
I'm excited to announce that at our 10:30 worship service this coming Sunday, we will welcome two new members to the Order of the Daughters of the King! Lisa Maynard and Lydia Rieger have been preparing to join the order for several months now, and on Sunday, they will officially be installed. Join us for help celebrate the decision these two ladies have made to commit themselves to a community of prayer and service.

Take care, be well!

With Easter joy,

Andrew+
